Meta took down the No Kings organizing page today - the biggest day of protest this fall. They provided zero explanation. It stayed down for the entire afternoon until most of the protests were done. Outrageous. Put this on the January investigation list.

Apparently at around 1:30 PM ET, the main accounts for the No Kings coalition on Instagram were frozen and pulled down. Admins have lost access to the account and are unable to log in. This happened at the peak of the organization's national day of action. Instagram, of course, is owned by Meta.

Y’all need to take 15 minutes of your day to watch Mr. Jacob explain to Patrick Healy of the NYT as to why the outlet is failing to live up to the moment. Refusing to call balls and strikes while only acknowledging that a pitch was thrown is the perfect analogy to describe why the NYT has issues.

Please indulge me while I post this once more for folks who may be too busy during the week and only peek at Bluesky on the weekend. The NY Times invited me to explain why I think they're failing in their duty to warn the public about the danger of a dictatorship. And they posted the video online.

Lawyers for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) accused federal authorities of ignoring key restrictions that a judge placed on the search of the lawmaker’s residence and demanded the immediate return of all property seized from the home.

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s lawyers say authorities ignored judge’s restrictions on home search

In a letter obtained by The Washington Post, attorneys for the Minnesota Democrat condemned a Justice Department inquiry into her immigration history as a politically motivated attack.

As I have said for years, the NYT is just Facebook. Same ratcheting effect pushing “moderates” right, same delegation of all editorial authority to fascists who game things by falsely claiming they’re being silenced. Same use of text content to support their actual monetization elsewhere.

🧵🧵🧵 The NY Times posted a 15-minute video today in which I got to tell NYT what’s wrong with its coverage. They said they saw my critical posts on Bluesky and invited me to do a video with them to air my grievances. Weird, right? I didn’t hold back. I blasted their sanewashing of MAGA extremism.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's saga is headline fodder. Want a bigger story: 93 U.S. ambassadorial posts are unfilled. That's nearly half of all posts. Nice job, Marco and Don. Shows just how much they value diplomacy, the State Department, our allies, etc.

I’m alarmed that more people aren’t alarmed by Trump targeting Somali Americans and labeling them “garbage” and “crooks” who “contribute nothing.” Most of them are U.S. citizens, yet Trump says, “I don’t want them in our country.” If you know history, you know the horror this can lead to.

Este es el video más visto en Brasil estos días, tanto en las redes sociales como en la televisión. En él, un antiguo partidario de Bolsonaro explica a todos cómo Bolsonaro planea vender Brasil a Estados Unidos. x.com/BladeoftheS/...

BladeoftheSun (@BladeoftheS) on X

This is the most viewed video today in Brazil on Social Media and TV. It's ex-Bolsonaro supporter telling everyone how Bolsonaro plans to sell Brazil to the US. (With English Subtitles)
