This storm near Glencoe is really kicking up as it rides along the outflow/ lake breeze boundary. Looking mean. #ONstorm
Didn't amount to much structurally in Lambton and Middlesex but the bolts were pretty good.
Best part of this whole (rather disappointing) storm setup: this specific 4-stroke bolt at 635am.
Finally got a new camera back in November. Upgraded to an R6MkIII from the old T3 that was getting pretty cranky and doing some odd things.
Oh hey again, Bluesky and #onwx people. Gonna get back to using this space again, especially with active season approaching (discounting those wild February hailers despite them being quite fun... not often you get bolts, structure and mammatus with solid snow cover still on the ground...)
What an incredible first 2 weeks of October, weather wise...
Milky Way, as the core comes over the horizon Monday night. This one is bigger at 237mp, but it wasn't quite as perfectly clear as a month ago, with a touch of haze here and there... but take the chances while they're there. #milkyway #nightsky #Astrophotography
Couple more #lightning strikes from the other night as South Huron got rocked pretty good #onwx #onstorm
Two bolts tonight after a lot of work to get out of the rain... West McGillivray, ON
Brief tornado touchdown south of Lucan, apparently also some damage to a barn. May have lifted, cycled and touched down again near Granton
Odd little phenomenon happening this morning as CASET is picking up vessels on Lake Huron, returns coming back from 150km or more where the beam should be well over 5000ft
Solitary thunder cell cruising off Huron into Lambton County last night
Once again, was down in #Amherstburg trying to intercept a squall line before it got too dark. Winds behind the shelf were close to severe but haven’t heard of any related damage. Still, pretty impressive visually. #ONstorm
