Fairweather Mountain juts out of the pacific to just over 15,000’. It lived up to its moniker today because you can only see it during fair weather. It was an amazing SE Alaska day. Just stupendous.

my line of sight record is probably Mount Whitney from Wildrose Peak in Death Valley NP about 100 miles (you can also see US lowest point Badwater Basin)
