I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.

These deaths are on the hands of politicians who failed to act over years. Putting profit over our safety refusing to take action - now failing to protect us from its impact. We need maximum working temperatures. Insulated homes. Cooling in schools, hospitals and care homes.

2700+ people in England & Wales died from heat-related causes during May and June. Most likely to be the poor, old. Yet there are climate change deniers who relentlessly push fossil fuels. Earth will be cinders by the time last drop of oil/gas is burnt.

LISTEN UP PLEASE! Climate change has been devastating food production, we have a fantastically fragile global food system, Trump's war has created a global fertiliser shock... and El Nino's about to hit We could be facing a major food crisis, and we need to get ready... here's what to do

People will die this week. The next few days will bring record-breaking heat to France, a country ill-prepared for widespread temperatures over 40 °C (104 °F). For the French: stay hydrated, stay in the shade, exercise due caution, and seek help if you need it.

WATCH - Trudi Warner arrested, handcuffed, and carried for holding a placard with the law written on it outside Woolwich Crown Court. “There’s a High Court Ruling about this law” Trudi ought to know, because the case was “the Secretary General vs Trudi Warner”, and Trudi won.
