really cannot overestimate the psychological importance of tuesday when thinking about near and mid-term. the fact that democrats made this breakthrough will encourage people who might be formidable candidates to see if they can't do it too in the next cycle. winning builds on winning folks.

Not surprised by this AT ALL. She always struck me as the worst sort of career politician, the kind who says whatever she thinks’ll get her the win. Well, the shroud is off. If anything, I think this helps Abdul though. Any true Democrat who was still pining for her will see what a traitor she is.
