I hope for a kinder climate stable world for my kids to thrive in.

Having returned from a @conmbank.bsky.social branch, my opinion is that CBA has no empathy for those with poor tech skills. Me: Can you please help my 76yo mum open an account? CBA: It must be done on our website or app. Me: She doesn't know how to. CBA: It must be done on the website or app.

We know that Labor continues to approve new fossil fuel projects and subsidise fossil fuel use by more than $30,000 a minute. They are letting the biggest polluters cook the planet, and to add insult to injury, they are letting them avoid billions in taxes too.

We know half of the world's CO2 emissions come from just 32 fossil fuel firms. We know billionaires emit more carbon pollution in 90 minutes than the average person does in a lifetime. We know Australia’s data centres could need more new electricity than cars and homes.

"The national mood can be summed up as ‘for God’s sake do something’, but that is not Albanese’s strength. His strength is in the not doing and explaining why that’s best for you." - @amyremeikis.bsky.social Salient summation of the Albanese's mediocrity 👍 #auspol

Time for Albanese to enter the fight against populism

There's a hunger for radical change in Australia, eventually Anthony Albanese is going to have to enter the fight.

This is taxpayer money down the drain. Households are paying too much for fuel, yet Labor's answer to every energy challenge is another handout to the fossil fuel industry. The cheapest, cleanest and most secure energy is clean energy we generate here.

In its campaign to put its Rudd-Gillard-Rudd past behind it, Labor, under Albanese, has mistaken a lack of dissent within the caucus for order and good policy. - Amy Remeikis I hope Labor gets a rude shock at the next elections & that it will be Greens and Independents that delivers it. #auspol

Albanese's 'disciplined' Labor risks making a very big mistake

The Australian Labor Party, under Anthony Albanese, has been a model in what political watchers like to call "discipline".

Hanson says domestic violence stops police dealing with “real crime”. I grew up with it. My mum got us out—with police help. Victims don’t create police workloads. Perpetrators do. And 79% of recorded FDV offenders are male. Domestic violence IS real crime.

Since the office has so much power over the rest of the world, I think it is only fair that every person in the world should be able to vote in the US Presidential elections.
