This is rabbit ears! A free web tool that lets you search for words and phrases in youtube captions. I developed it specifically for finding vocal samples, so you can download clips as mp3s right from the interface. All free & hosted on my skrunkly little server :3 🐇 rabbitears.wangleline.com

every single nintendo direct is written like its advertising the first video game ever made. in this “game of strategy” you can choose to attack with swords [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a sword] or with spells [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a spell]

I just hate that it seems that 75% of Americans are way more invested in believing in flesh-eating robots, and secret demon wars, and ghosts, and nanobots, and time travel, and vampires, than actual emancipation from anything. The story paragraphs from your nostalgic Xbox game manuals ARE NOT REAL

Like so many people are like "I hate anthropic, openAI, etc. I also 100% believe every word they say and conflate their shitty product with sci fi characters from old movies. Instead of destroying a data center, I want to go torture and kill a human robot with human emotions... where can I do that?"

in video games the word "survival" means clearcutting a forest to build a fortress and "cozy" means starting a small business so you can eventually earn enough money to clearcut a forest and build a fortress

It's bizarre how repeatedly people keep hijacking the conversation about Accessibility away from things like closed captioning, colorblindness support, alt-text for screen-readers, etc, to "Games should be easier to play, books should be easier to read, and shows should be simple to understand"
