Obviously I am biased; The Three Tuns Rock & Sports Bar doesn't have single occupancy unisex toilets, but it has great beer and great crack! Love it here.

If you're struggling with your mental health and in the UK you can call the Samaritans on 116 123, and you don't need to be suicidal to do so. Left-leaning Non-Binary Cumbrian. Be nice or be blocked. I also block to protect my mental health.
It may be useful to know that some of my favourite bars have single occupancy unisex toilets: Cafe Amsterdam, Whitley Bay. The Corner Bar, Whitehaven. The Crafty Baa, Keswick. The Harbour Master Coffee House and Bar, Whitehaven. The Ticket Office, Whitley Bay.
Blaming oil prices on the Iran war while BP took in just short of $6bn in profit (not total revenue - PROFIT!) in just three months. 🤬 We're all being bent over by greedy corporations. 🤨 With that much profit there is no need for pump prices to be so high. Something needs done. 🧐
BP profits highest in four years as Iran war pushes up oil price
Higher oil prices boost the energy giant's results while environmental groups accuse it of profiteering.

One thing I have noticed in recent times is an increased sensitivity to 3 very specific smells: Opened cans of Red Bull, Garlic Mayo dip from local Pizza spot, Garlic Coleslaw from local Chicken spot. Currently suffering the 2nd - despite having binned if a mile or so away more than an hour ago...
Very very glad I stopped at pint six, and got home before the (expected) excessive drunkenness kicks in... Stormcrowe album pretty good, but I would have given the vocals a pinch more bandwidth and volume on the first cpl of tracks.
Looks like the first year on record when 33C has been achieved during 4 separate calendar months here in the UK..May through August
"Get your cock out for the lads" as a passing comment from a bunch of (relatively) young men may be interpreted by some as transphobia, - but I just think they will be left with a deep sense of insecurity should I comply...
Excellent! The Tuns Rock and Sports Bar kindly saved me some posters AND a copy of Stormcrowe's new album "Sinister" - looking forward to hearing that later as they were great the last two times I saw them in here.
A few enjoyable hours spent gardening and seen as I have now ran out of tobacco, figured I may as well spend the rest of my afternoon off in the pub. Cheers!
Aren't gardening muscle aches wonderful? On the bright side I've: built a hotel climbed a tree cut my Cherry trimmed my bush fed many hungry plants planted out three strawbs dragged a bath half full of tatties with privet on top ate some grapes, a black chokeberry and a strawberry drank some Tea.
Today's greenhouse harvest may be modest and the grapes even modester, but they were very nice, sweet with a bit of tartness to the paler ones - which I also like, and surprisingly juicy.
A colleague is having therapy for his S&M addition, but it's expensive So we're having a whip round.
Tonight at The Three Tuns Rock & Sports Bar in Whitehaven, Cumbria / Cumberland, UK, is the excellent local band Stormcrowe, who played great and had excellent sound when they last played in may this year!
Today's harvest from the greenhouse: 3 large (Black Russian?) Tomatoes, 7 Cherry Tomatoes from three plants, 9 Strawberries from one plant.
Post work, a rare brief visit to St Bees for a meetup with family and friends. There was a singer on in the beer garden, she was good, but not what I was there for. It has been a long day.
Half Litre (Almost "Pint") number three, Frontaal's Juice Punch, also 5.8%, very differently flavoured and also NOM!!! @cafeamsterdamwb.bsky.social #CafeAmsterdam
A (2nd) half litre of Uitje's Bird of Prey, while I await the start of the Pub Quiz.

Pub Quiz tonight at @cafeamsterdamwb.bsky.social and I am already planning nefarious tactics...
Sadly it's not just #JodrellBank losing funding, with deep cuts across the board for UK astronomy. One example is the HiPERCAM project whose funding has been entirely cut to save £50K/yr - peanut-levels of £s. Spectacular fast transient science lost, for what? 🔭😡 www.zmescience.com/science/astr...
