gosh i need to upload a video of my old medli follower code edits in action... i made her go with you everywhere, even get on the boat when you did and everything.
I remember feeling so smart when I dynamically found where medli's .rel file was loaded into memory (since .rel are like the wiicube's "dll" files, modules to be loaded) so I could call her functions based on their relative offsets to the base address~
One of the most fun things I've done while hacking games is that time I injected custom code into Wind Waker, by hooking into some of the game's update functions and having it JMP (actually BL in powerpc on the 'cube cause its a fujoshi) to my new codes I wrote in C at the end of the main.dol
