This is a Kapok Tree in SW FL. Very thick trunk, approx 10 ft in diameter. Maybe 100 ft tall? #ThickTrunkTuesday #Trees #Photography #SWFLTrees
The US used to have a “Postal Palace” in Washington DC. Then it became a Trump Hotel. 🤦🏼♂️
Dear SC follows, I’ve attempted to keep this page politics free, but opinions are strong right now, and with good reason. Many are losing their human rights. How can we be silent? Silence is capitulation, and I refuse to capitulate. I’m sorry to those of you looking for 🚫 politics.
Great photo. Would also make a great painting reference!
Remember, this page is not for politics. I’d like to keep it a peaceful place to just enjoy art, and not bring to it the anxieties of our administration, wars or any type of strife at all. If you would like to enjoy the art, but speak politics, please let me mute you. This is my peaceful place.
#AlteredScapesComposites I’d love to see a composite of the type artwork(s) you do. I used 9 images. Limit of 10 images. Please use hashtag #AlteredScapesComposites I can’t wait to see examples of your amazing works!!
If you are interested in politics, my other page is where you want to be. Follow me at @bitchinpost.bsky.social
Hi everyone! With over 250 followers, I’d like to tell you why I’ve started this page, and how I strive to keep it a peaceful place. I vet all followers, and weed out the political (they’re muted), the scammers, the bots, the AI, and the ones who beg for money. That’s for a different place.
Anyone like to show their latest works? Monday seems like a great day for that! Use the hashtag #NewWorks And show us what you’ve got!!
This is beautiful. Good morning all! bsky.app/profile/gayk...
I’m sorry, I don’t consider AI art. I actually consider AI a threat to the artist community.
Poets, writers, painters, oil, acrylic, pastels, watercolorists, photographers, those sharing their own music, potters, sculptors, paper artists, jewelry makers, and any other type of artist welcome here. If you’d like to follow along, and are none of the above, I hope you won’t mind me muting you.
Hello to our wonderful followers. I’m trying to make Altered Scapes a place of artists, harmony, peace and a place to leave the world behind.
