People are struggling right now. Some without work, some working without pay. As we hit day 30 of the government shutdown it's important to note what benefits may be dried up come Nov 1. If at all possible, even if it's just a can of peas or an hr of your time, give to your local community.
Gentle reminder that 60,000 TSA employees are currently working without pay. Please know that we love, thank, and support you all during this ridiculous and dark time. And I certainly hope that 60,000 of you vote appropriately in the next elections - presuming we still have them, of course.
Whatever your plans for tomorrow: stay safe, watch out for each other, keep it clean. Everyone goes home.
Long time FAA contractor here. This is your reminder that while Secretary Pete was in office, the FAA controlled over 40 million scheduled airline flights with a grand total of 0 accidents. (The FAA does not control most small aircraft flying between airfields with no control tower).

Sometimes we have nothing positive to say. No words of comfort come to mind. Take a breather. Take a nap. Take your meds. Keep going.
