i had a pretty long description, but apparently, there's a character limit? lol

Thank you so much for 100 followers on #AltStream! This site has truly reignited my passion for streaming, even with the lower viewership! Being surrounded by like-minded people with similar values is just so fucking refreshing. Thank you endlessly for your support! 💖 🧡 altstream.online/elouyn 🧡

Good morning from us at alt stream, and a huge thank you to everyone who has signed up to give our site a try! As of this morning we have passed 1500 registered users! We couldn't be doing this without all of you!

Changed my mind, we're streaming on Altstream today: altstream.online/naolindavis

💖 LIVE NOW 💖 We're back in the exclusion zone, having finally gotten into the deepest sector yesterday! ALSO the devs of #SamuraiUnicorn kindly gave me a demo key to check out, so we'll play that later too! 💖 🟣 twitch.tv/elouyn 🟠 altstream.online/elouyn #Vtuber • #Vsky • #LiveNow • #PacificDrive

The site is running extremely stable, we have MistServer running well now too! I'm taking the weekend off doing any code, it's been a few weeks since I had time to just play anything, however if you need us for anything we're still around on socials and the Stoat / Discord. Enjoy streaming! ❤️

Multiple days and late nights later, having overcome annoying roadblocks and other obsticles but we are finally back up and running. New hardware, and new media service that hasn't been poisoned by AI. We're back!

Database and Site have been moved across successfully, we opened the site very briefly and did a test stream, was great. We still need to finish up with the moving across two more parts of the site, but when that's done we're good to go for a good while again! Will be back up in less than 24 hours

Just because the new server migration is going that doesn't stop me working! I was reviewing the information IGDB has and it allows me to also pull the AI disclosure from Steam! Cool, so let's hook that to the game search and add a nice little box to state where it uses AI for streamers and users!

We are now in Maintenance mode while we start moving the database across. We do not have an ETA on completion but I will not be sleeping until it's back. :) Sorry about the disruption! It's for the greater good!

Migration still ongoing, we’re currently going through all the security setup first making sure everything is tight before moving our systems across. While that’s been happening, I’ve wrapped up the first iteration of a no auth required public API, It’s being tested currently for stability.

We don’t use @bear-den.org but it’s a very valid! We’ve used a local smaller business ourselves. One of the things we are doing is trying to avoid the monopolies and grow the smaller businesses! 🎉

Don't forget to look at smaller businesses as well for other needs! Bear Den Hosting is a small, LGBTQIA+ friendly hosting service for web, email, cloud, and social media - we'd love to talk to you about what we can do to help you break away from Big Tech!

AltStream working on their server infrastructure, community and the people running it are A+ good beans too. Love it. Once they're a little more happy with it I'm never gonna shut up about the place.

Looks like they’re going to be live at some point, more than 5 people should see this post! Altstream.online/jeffaroine :)

guess I'll give a shot on this new platform @altstream.online it's new so it may not be perfect to stream on the first run altstream.online/tak_duh_kat

WHOA who's THAT hyena of a lad there? Looking preeeetty sleek if I do say so myself 😏✨ It's been so nice getting to see the devs of @altstream.online work on building this site from the ground up and I'm excited to be multistreaming on there myself 🩵 Pop on in and say hello there!🩵

been poking around altstream and it's actually got me sort of pumped. it looks like the first actual alternative to twitch among other streaming options, using common twitch features such as raids and channel points. it also loads like a dream on my super slow connection. it's very promising imo.

IT'S REPO TIME WITH THE GANG So COME ON INTO THE LOUNGE and indulge in some fun chaos! <3 www.twitch.tv/nepcaligovt altstream.online/nepcaligo #Vtuber #ENVtuber #LiveNow

Hi, Update time! We'll be moving over to our first dedicated bare metal server! We're keeping the current setup to handle some of the less intensive systems and there will be a noticeable performance increase! No AWS. The host we are using handles bare metal deployments for smaller businesses.

Monopolies will never be toppled unless someone begins to make a move. We all happily moved from Twitter to Bluesky, so why not other platforms? Try @stoat.chat instead of Discord! I've also been multistreaming to @altstream.online as well as Twitch whilst they're finding their feet. 💖

Hey! I'm Streaming over at ⭐ altstream.online/pank ⭐ on my off hours whenever I have some extra gas in the tank or spoons in my pocket. So if you follow me here, or on Twitch Go give me a follow there for Bonus Shows Times! #vtuber #vsky #altstream

Hey folks! We have been absolutely floored by the influx of new users recently. This project started as a place for one person to stream outside of twitch. It took us over a month to gain 100 total users, that was 6 days ago. As of today, we are at 539! 1/2

We’re alive again. The server didn’t end up feeling very well after a second round of very intense traffic.
