Found a website that claims to compile as much of the EverQuest lore as possible, directly quoting it from primary sources and stating both the source and what canon it is (EQ1, EQ2, etc). But the text not directly copied just smells like an AI slop website. So don't think I can trust it anyway.

We didn't do a lot of leveling, but we sure did some good exploring. Not always to healthy ends though. We jumped in a huge hole! Died (due to getting punched in the face by ghosts). Went into a water temple! Died (due to drowning, predictably). But got some achievements done.

Tomorrows EverQuest Legends stream will probably have some random shit at the start. The servers are going down for emergency maintenance in the morning to fix a raid timer reset bug, which happens an hour before start and upwards of 2 hour duration. So maybe we do... something. Or yap.

Lots of the same names here because I didnt scroll massively far, but some examples here. I saw other archipelago users complain about the AI chud vibe, and the announcement channel acknowledge the flood of AI slop that doesnt even work.

It's very great to wake up and see a text message from your bank saying "hey do you recognize this charge?" and its a few hundred dollars to an airline. Luckily no actual money left my account but had the 'fun' of getting my card replaced, and I'm sure that wont be a pain in the ass going forward.

STEP 1: Make a .txt document on your computer named whatever you want. Mine's "Today's Raiders". Other document types probably work but I find notepad .txt works fine. Put it anywhere you won't have trouble accessing again! Organization always helps!

You know, I always thought my #everquestlegends character seemed to take more damage than expected. Turns out I built one made of explodium! They are Berserker/Shadowknight/Enchanter, and the idea is that we use ENC to turn into a werewolf eventually and hit really fast really hard, and drain HP. 🧵

Okay, after 6 hours today of (mostly passively) farming Cazic Thule zone, and a bunch of the other requirements, I can now go make most of a full set of Darkforge Armour. Gonna be nice.

I was willing to give Velora a try but this stopped me in my tracks once I joined the Discord server. The rest of their mission sounds great but this sounds weird as shit and I just don't feel like fucking with it, so I guess I give up.

Trying out some other trios in EverQuest Legends. Played Berserker/Rogue/Druid for a bit. I like the idea of BER/ROG combos, being both "big and fast hits" but in different ways, and the rogue poisons adding some utility. But here Druid doesn't add much but slight heals.

Playing some of that Hololive Dreams rhythm gacha game. Rhythm stuff is fun, and lots of songs available. Holy shit the 10-rolls for gacha seem expensive as fuck though unless the currency generation from playing is really substantial.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
