It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.

I’m trying to make as much leafy duck pieces as I can before I have to be away from the studio for a bit next weekend

I made a few of these wall-hanging bird ladies two years ago & have been meaning to make more ever since & today was finally the day. Super happy with these Great Blue Heron gals 🥰

OH! I’m working on a leafy duck jar right now and it’s going really well so far (surprisingly?!)

Feels like I haven’t done a shop update in forever which makes me nervous and so I’m baking myself a banana coffee cake

It’s might be difficult to see all of the details indoors, but it’s there!!

A class at my kids’ school put up little statements about the good they want to do in the world and I was over the moon about this one - then I learned they meant to say “teach people in jail” which is also good!

Fetti is such a special cat. she is so unbelievably patient, polite, and sweet. she can tell when a person or animal is sick and wants to comfort them. she sits politely for her food, never begging. she’s got big ol’ eyes and delicate little paws.

This right here. I know art is a “luxury” and when people can’t afford even the basics, it’s understandable that they aren’t spending money on art stuff. So if you still support artists in these though times, know how much we all appreciate it. (And don’t feel bad if you can’t.)

I went back to check on them just now and everything’s gone and everything that was on that sidewalk is completely cleared out. I think the city came by and took everything with them maybe? I hope this little chicken family is in good hands and are well taken care of 🤞😭
