I was so stoked for Big Walk game but testing it out and it's triggering my motion sickness which I was afraid of since I have this issue with indie games sometimes especially in first-person. 😔 (Yes I've tried changing every setting that would help on Switch2 handheld, tv mode, and on iMac).

As adults we're told playing is childish, but I truly believe allowing yourself to play is one of the keys to happiness and creativity. I have been playing with paper recently and it boosted my art. I wanna get me some wooden toys and lego now. Playing is not just for kids, it's for everyone! ✨🌼

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. Almost started crying when the city started to mow down an area by us that had been left wild, saw a bunny running away for its life. 😭 Thankfully my partner went out to talk to them and they stopped. I hate suburban culture mowing everything down, it’s not “overgrown”. Let a little nature thrive.

I realized one of the reasons this bothers me so much. For those of us who aren’t cis white men, we’ve already had to spend our art careers proving our worth and now we have to also prove that we aren’t robots over and over. It’s another exhausting burden. So maybe take that into consideration.

The way suspecting genAI use has turned artists against each other feels so disheartening lately. We all have to be sus these days (and never trust large corps) but we also shouldn't go so hard other way that we treat everyone as guilty til proven innocent. You don't always have to assume the worst.
