WTAF. Just took a Lyft from the airport to my house. They charged me $50. I saw the drivers phone when he was starting the ride and he only got $18 ?! That’s ridiculous!🤬

over the last year, i've been reverse-engineering and documenting old Seagate hard drives from the 1980s. the latest one is this ST-296N from 1987, which is a SCSI drive that can store 85 megabytes.

larger 5 1/4" format hard drive that is longer than my hand. the case is aluminum with what looks like a gold-colored alodyne coating. it has a number of stickers on it, including "ST-296N" and a warning label about the warranty being voided if the drive is opened.
