I had been looking for a job for nearly 5 months. I finally found one. It was working for the post office locally. But I’ve done courier and route jobs before. They’re incredibly physical and very difficult. So I was, as an atheist, borderline praying to get a different job offer. I got one.
Noticing how every single social media feed is now inundated with people trying to sell you shit? 🤮

And they hope this scares other companies/organizations/schools from hiring a trans person in the future. At a minimum, they want to get employers to ask themselves if it's worth the hassle and backlash to hire a trans person. This is not acceptable. Society really cannot accept this.
The complaint is literally just that Libs of TikTok and the like don't believe trans people should be able to have a job. Any job. They believe that companies and organizations and schools that hire trans people should be harassed until they no longer employ any trans people.
I have two series that I’m scared to start the final season of because I don’t like when things end.

My thoughts are with all those affected by the homophobic attack at Berlin Pride yesterday. Know though that whatever is thrown at LGBTQ people, whether we are attacked, vilified or criminalised, we will persist. We have always been here. We will always be here.

I get it. The World Cup is a form of escapism right now, and we need something so we don't stay in 'everything is on fire' land. But...is there like a pill I can take or something that'll help me not feel like I'm just polishing brass on the Titanic if I watch? Because I just can't seem to.

What we're finding out right now is that, it turns out a LOT of people will be scared into silence and complicity. The people that will not, will have to face these people as well. History is sorting out exactly who those people will be, right now.
Believing death demands automatic respect, but being alive doesn’t deserve human rights is about as transparently hypocritical of a human being as you can choose to be. I see TONS of the same people treating people like a means to an end and tossing them aside.
