We hope many colleagues will join us—not only to support emerging researchers, but also to contribute to building a more inclusive academic community for all its members, especially those from groups that remain underrepresented in academia.

The Women’s Forum at INAS once again will take place on the first day of the INAS Conference 2026 and is open to all conference participants. This half-day event will feature flash talks by junior scholars, followed by a panel discussion on inclusion, representation, and academic life.

We welcome submissions of full papers, works-in-progress, and poster presentations. Researchers based outside Madrid are warmly encouraged to participate. Acceptance decisions will be communicated in early September. We look forward to seeing you in October!

Every academic career is built on rejection, but we don’t show it.
CVs list publications, grants & awards, not rejected manuscripts, unfunded proposals, or failures.
But those invisible rejections shape us more than our successes ever do. 👉 catherineeunicedevries.substack.com/p/fail-bette... 🧵

Fail Better: Why Your Rejections Will Shape You More Than Your Publications

The Art of Learning from Rejection

Radical-right parties are often linked to the “left-behind”. But supporting them when stigma is strong is costly. So who is willing to pay that cost early on, before it’s normalized? In my new WP, I argue that breaking political norms is socially stratified. 🧵👇

Do you study cooperation and how it varies across societies, including those that are under-represented? Are you interested in how AI is fundamentally reshaping human cooperation? If so, don’t miss our special issue on Current Directions in Social Dilemmas Research
