EXCL: Hearing from multiple sources tonight that the government is moving at pace to announce the long-promised ban on so-called conversion therapy in the coming days. The ban was first pledged by Theresa May but got caught up in complexities with regards to gender identity.

NEW: I was covering Newry court earlier. The judge determined Eleanor Donaldson is unfit to be tried, on medical grounds. She will now to face a trial of the facts. Judge deciding tomorrow the process for this, and Jeffrey Donaldson’s trial. Proceedings on course for next week.

These men think it's just a bit of knockabout fun, but looking down on women, even in this "harmless" way, gives the idea that women are only to be tolerated and not taken seriously. With yet another woman murdered, people with influence should reflect on the societal impact of their attitudes.
