This BS w/ Canada is Trump's standard playbook. Gin up a pointless crisis. Stop doing the stupid shit and claim he's brilliant for solving it. He did this w/ North Korea back in 2018 and about a gazillion times since. I don't know why Trump does this or what he gets out of it. But it's what he does.

I hate Musk and DOGE as much as anyone. But—the Lancet is trash at statistics. It’s a medical journal, not a statistical journal. My wife, a biostatistician disregarded any stats they did because their reviewers just don’t know how stats work. JAMA and NEJ by contrast do stats well.
