Of all the books I've read so far this year (around 20), this is absolutely the best of them. If you like your fantasy dark with a delicious dry humour, you must treat yourself to a copy of this.

I knew it was going to be a tough week when in Mondays planning meeting I was told the information was available on the server. Knowing I didn't have access, asked if it was "in a locked cabinet, in a disused lavatory in the basement..." That set the tone for my week.

Are you sure it's only Tuesday? I'm going to hit my tolerance limits far too early this week if it carries on like this.

Well, today is very much a true Monday and I've had enough of the office. I'm looking forward to getting home and sitting in the garden to enjoy the last of the sunshine later. I may even be tempted to take a monochrome image.

It's been another long, hot day of DIY, but I'm happy with everything I achieved. Now it's time for a long shower, then food. The rest of day is clothing optional, which I think we all know means not required.

Hey Bluesky Dev team, how about adding pictures to DMs, BUT, also add the feature to choose who can send to you. So you can select individual friends and disallow everyone else. Maybe also add a lock so only friends can see your feed. Just a thought.

Spent a happy hour or so taking pictures of the hummingbird hawk moths in my garden again this evening.

My tomato plants have yielded almost no crop this year, but I've had loads of cucumbers. They're short, girthy and plentiful. Not a bad result.

I've had a lovely weekend away. We spent yesterday at Silverstone revelling in a whole bunch of superb cars, and walking miles. Now I'm home, in the garden, feeling the sun on my skin. Bliss.
