I miss writing :( #UshiOiWeek2026 is coming up and I feel so rubbish that it’s just completely passing me by. My brain feels so wrung dry by my 9-5… Maybe I should lower the bar and just write a tiny drabble… something smol and self-indulgent, like ice-cream 🍦

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

The CEO of Palantir posted a fascist manifesto on X. I pointed out that it was fascist—which resulted in a permanent suspension from X (my second time!). So, when you hear the tweeters complaining that BlueSky is intolerant, remember why many of us came here in the first place.

One of my favorite things about haikyuu is how many "stories in the margins" there are, especially timeskip. Furudate tells us x (Osamu quit volleyball, Bokuto is over his mercurial nature, Oikawa got Argentinian citizenship), and the gray area left unsaid is where the fun is
