I was effusive in the moment, but the more I watch Nico Williams’s assist the more impressed I am. Not only is it a difficult athletic feat, he sees the space that Torres can run into as the ball is in the air, and slows his run slightly, inviting contact from Molina so that Molina can’t get to it.
