The current situation at the University of Dundee is that we are not getting our annual pay increase and that promotion processes are paused. At the same time the uni is refusing to rule out compulsory redundancies, it is advertising over 20 new senior management jobs for academic staff.

For my Australian friends and colleagues - please consider participating and/or circulating in your networks this survey on meat consumption, masculinity and national identity ran by Robb Norrie, our PhD student at Dundee: surveyswesternsydney.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_... Thank you! 🙏

The University of Dundee has a women problem “In our view this culture of sexism runs deeper than the sidelining of women speaking up and out and persists beyond the ignominious end of Iain Gillespie’s tenure as Principal of the university.” www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/opinion/c...

'We're female professors, here's why we think Dundee University has a women problem'

Professors Angela Daly and Annalu Waller say Dundee University is destroying its commitment to gender equality in STEM.

NO REDUNDANCIES at the University of Dundee. Fantastic news in our fight to save jobs, as interim Principal Prof Nigel Seaton confirms that there will be no redundancies. A massive victory for everyone who has supported us. Looking forward to receiving the removal of Section 188 in writing.

The University of Dundee is currently trying to make 100% of female research Professors in the School of Science and Engineering redundant. 100% OF FEMALE RESEARCH PROFESSORS! Only one female professor (teaching and scholarship) from that School will remain working on our UK campuses.
