One of the most shocking things in this report, for me, was the fact that detainees were being transported, back and forth, for absolutely no reason other than to make it harder to find them. THEY WEREN'T EVEN BEING DEPORTED WHEN THEY WANTED TO LEAVE.

Made high tea for dnd tonight! Homemade gluten-free crumpet & scones served w/ clotted cream, jams, and Palisade peaches. Sandwiches were cucumber, salmon, coronation chicken, and egg & watercress. Tea was from a friend's trip to Boston. Please note the ridiculous tea deer & tiny cups.

It is interesting to see all these city folks posting smoke haze images. People in the interior west especially have been dealing with this for years. Sucks that so many others are getting some first hand experience, but I hope it will increase awareness and help fund fighting/prevention efforts
