For those outside of the general music ecosystem - If you love a band or artist and want to make their day, buy their music direct on a platform like bandcamp. Doing so typically nets them the same revenue as approx. 3,000 streams (or more). There is tremendous power there.

Wizards and guys with swords absolutely hate each other's guts, but wizards can magically rip all of the clothes off a guy too. That's right, two completely naked men are going to fight each other in this book. Spells will be dodged by dramatic, naked cartwheels, and tits will definitely be cut. That's not a spoiler, it's an appetizer.

I am looking for musicians to stand in front of me while I operate a synthesizer
I will not be playing notes. I will be managing the atmosphere. This is a different thing. I need you to understand that going in and I need you to be fine with it.
My contribution to the band will consist of the following:
One (1) filter sweep per song, executed slowly and with intention.
Occasional pitch adjustment, directionally correct.
Standing very still for extended periods.
The hair (long, grey, already exists, non-negotiable).
A robe (provided, tasteful, floor-length).
A Behringer ARP2600 clone the size of a small country.
You will be expected to make music for 60-90 minutes while I do the above. I will not be checking in on you. I will be focused on something you cannot see.
Influences: Dik Mik. Del Dettmar. That tall guy from Acid Mothers Temple who does nothing for an hour and somehow it's the most important part of the show. Anyone who has ever made a room feel geologically wrong on purpose.
Open positions:
Guitarist. You need to play like a Japanese virtuoso who has stopped caring whether anyone survives the experience. Unhinged is fine. Unhinged with complete internal logic is required. If you know the difference between those two things you are probably our guitarist. If you had to think about it you are not.
Drummer. You will be playing in 4/4 at approximately 8 bpm. You need the timing discipline, temperament, and apparent lack of ego of Adrianne Davies of Earth. This is not slow because we cannot play fast. This is slow because slow is load-bearing. If you need fills to feel alive this is not your band. If you need to be told who Adrianne Davies is this is also not your band.
Bassist. Your job is to be felt, not heard. We are not looking for a bass player. We are looking for a person who has thought seriously about sub-frequency as a physical and possibly spiritual phenomenon. You will play in a mode that implies so…
