It’s been a busy week so camera was redundant but phone wasn’t. A little colour for a change. #Sharemondays2026

I’ve won nowt & never shortlisted . Mild dislike for colour. Loyal to 1:1 & 4:5. Not chasing likes just light.
Today’s trip to the coast. Scottish Borders again but must head back
Today’s trip to the Scottish Borders brings you a lovely harbour
Had a lovely trip into the Scottish Borders last week an area I’m probably going to explore more in coming months. #sharemondays2026
Usually I put my camera down in the summer as I find it difficult and much prefer Autumn & Winter or maybe it’s just I don’t like the sun.
A couple of weeks back I headed to the Scottish Borders to an amazing private beach.
Well, I’ve moved to the dark side and tried some colour this week 😂. Sometimes it is good to challenge yourself. #sharemondays2026
Had a great day out with @andrewsgray.bsky.social last week. Was great to get out again #sharemondays2026
It’s been a while since I picked up a camera. However yesterday I managed to get out with @andrewsgray.bsky.social He has written a short piece in it www.patreon.com/andrewsgray/...

As usual the high standard of entries for #sharemondays2026 makes thing really difficult. However we have to have a winner. This week it’s @circa35mm.bsky.social with his simple minimalistic image in Black & White.
Never an easy choice but here are my 4 finalists for #sharemondays2026 @circa35mm.bsky.social @sarahlonges.bsky.social @mchardy.bsky.social @dmrippin.bsky.social
It really looks like there are mirrors involved in this shot but there isn’t. I think it’s down to the unlit start of the tunnel. #sharemondays2026
A little bit of abstract from my phone today. Went out to the beach yesterday a noticed how colourful the sea foam was
Last time I was at this location was probably over 20 years ago photographing a band for their album cover. Thankfully u like then I didn’t get thrown out by security today 😂
Once a year I try and buy a price of art. Usually I order it and completely forget about it. No difference this year. Nice surprise when a print was delivered this morning.
Had a few hours out on Friday with a good friend and headed to Skinningrove in North Yorkshire. A really interesting place tucked away and not as popular as some of well known spots. #sharemondays2026
More from moody Scotland. I just love the changeable weather and the drama it leaves
Back from my trip to Scotland. Only a couple of days and not that much photography done but it never disappoints.
Having a couple of days away in Scotland to clear my head from what’s been a pretty tough few weeks. A phone shot from the campsite in Oban #sharemondays2026
Back to St. Marks Sq. again today in the mist. Had to wait a while to get this. There where more people around
Last year I had a trip with a couple of good friends to Harris. However the adventure started before we got there due to a storm. We ended up having to stay on Skye for one night so we made the most of it.

Back to my black and white but still including figures. Sometimes you get really lucky and I feel my trip to Venice was on of those occasions. So lucky with conditions.
Something really different from myself. Over the last 6 months I’ve been including more people in my work. Something I’ve always tried to keep away from. It’s funny how things change. This lady was posing for a friend when I was in Venice in February
