PSA: periodic reminder that IGCSE syllabi have very cool questions for students and worth having a quick look at. IGCSE Syllabus B is criminally underrated imo. Attached are questions from the November 2024 papers. #gcsemaths

@sxpmaths.bsky.social shared a few nice questions from Netherlands exams, and I'd like to share that they had nice circle theorem questions featured on exams around 2005-2015 (years are not exact).
This is a very nice cyclic quadrilateral question. Hardest part is drawing the diagram from the written description; needed to deduce that ABCD is an isosceles trapezium. Also loved that the jump between item isn't too ridiculous. SPOILERS BELOW. #GCSEMaths #L2FM
FRENCH BAC post-2019, part 2 The French bac has lovely questions on probability and probability distributions (this goes beyond the scope of Single A-level but totally within the scope of IB). The work on sequences and numerical methods is also quite solid (see second photo).
Let's go beyond the Anglosphere and venture into the French Baccalaureate. The French Bac has undergone lots of updates over the years, so let's focus on the post-2019 French bac for now. The French Bac is known for their rigour - which makes sense when there are 4 questions for 4h. #ALevelMaths

November 2025 South African exams (Mathematics): Strong in trigonometry and geometry as usual. Coordinate geometry questions (not shown here) are also quite solid. A lot of these questions can be used as extension for L2 FM/EMC or A-level students, perhaps with some tiny tweaks. #ALevelMaths

Just realised that I am a month late to the HKDSE exams. This year's M2 paper was BRUTAL. 100 marks, 2.5h. Not very surprised by the last two photos (M2 usually has a tricky integration question and a tricky matrices questions). #ALevelMaths #ALevelFM

It's almost the high school entrance exam [end of Y10 in the UK system] season back home (in Vietnam). Allow me to introduce circle theorem questions. These questions are quite beyond what's expected at GCSE, but doesn't carry the same vibe as Olympiads. Enjoy!

This is a lovely question I wrote for M25 mocks. Not in the typical A-level style, but IB does give questions like this every now and then. Many students were intimidated by its appearance, but getting 2 marks out of 7 is not out of reach. The order of the bullet points should've been reversed.
