I would say the bus fight from the first Transporter, but honestly, there’s no question, it’s this, the best fight scene from the best Jason Statham movie.

I find myself revisiting the fights from BLADES OF THE GUARDIANS over and over! Woo-ping and his crew hooked up Wu Jing and the entire cast in pretty much every fight along with delivering dazzling fight choreography and fantastic wire work. One of the year’s best!

Rewatch. God tier until the climax. Best acting of the franchise so far. Jackmans on another level here. Great setup, great story. It’s a gorgeous film too and Mangold directs the fuck outta the action. Giant misstep on Silver Samurai and Viper keep it from masterpiece 4.5/5

Rewatch complete of one of my favorite Kevin Smith flicks! Incredibly interesting and thoughtful story about belief and faith elevated by Smith’s witty and humorous writing, great performances, memorable characters and one of the best ensemble casts ever in the View Askewniverse!

Well I just watched one of my biggest surprises of the year. An absolutely fantastic take on the murder mystery genre and all its fun tropes. Excellent soundtrack, voice acting and live performances add up to one of the most charming and wonderful movie experiences of the year!

Yet another example of good ol’ Shout Factory shitting the bed. Glad I have the UK releases of these Jet movies.

To the surprise of no one, Arrow has yet again made Shout Factory look terrible. SF put out “A Chinese Ghost Story” trilogy as Blu-ray only w/ their typical bad cover art. Then Arrow comes along & offers the set in 4K UHD w/ more extras & vastly improved cover art.

So yeah, I shouldn't be surprised the guy who made Short Term 12 knows and understands the core of Spider-Man in ways that not even Raimi could quite nail. BND ain't better than Spider-Man 2 but it's really taking a run at it. Glad someone remembered these can be actual movies. Loved it.
