I'm noticing a trend among companies adopting AI that leaders no longer write requirements, user-stories or anything before passing it off to development. Not only is it exhausting to read these long-winded spec files - but, we're losing the conversation. I miss that!

I think launching a full browser for rendering PDF or SVG is absolutely bonkers insane! It's like shooting pigeons with an elephant gun or trying to hit tiny nails with a sledge hammer. Please stop and smell the complexity.

I tried Fable briefly. It read my requirements document and told me that it violated the terms of use. The project in question was a shopping list app without implementation. Guess I'm waiting for the open-weight models to catch up.
It's hard for non-technical people to understand that #atproto (Bluesky, and friends) really is a different breed of social software. One where our data, and connections are no longer taken hostage by the platform and we're free to store our data wherever we want
After feeling overwhelmed with large spec files, I'm playing around with a compact YAML based requirements format for projects. I just ran an LLM discovery of an existing project where it did a browser/code sweep and captured the requirements with minimal edits.

I think Altavista was the first good search-engine I tried. But, before that it was very much finding these directory-websites of cool webpages. Most of the URLs were long and belonged to Universities. It was fun to explore!
