Ken Jennings not only demonstrates how to stand up for trans people and human rights—and be a decent person!—but also how to point out that a TV show's topic may not be policy/politics, but can still be a welcoming space (a political act by itself).

My TV job is apolitical, but I’m proud that one of the things we make is a space that’s trans- and nb-friendly, and that’s not going to change either. ⬇️

For the record: NOPE. Honestly, I don’t think there’s an issue today I care about on a personal level more deeply than trans rights. And it’s rough out there right now. Bigots on one side of the political aisle and too many cowards on the other. ⬇️

ICYMI: After this week’s Big Brother 28 elimination, I’m revisiting an interview I did with Big Brother producers Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan about the show’s format. Has anything changed in 12 years? What still needs to change? #BigBrother #RealityTV

Do we think the #BB28 producers and casting team were just waiting to see how long it took until people found Kamu's horrifying Instagram stories? Or did they see them and not notice and/or not care?

ICYMI: BB28 episode 11 showed Kamu turning a tea party into another opportunity to target Jason, who responded with his own tea party. But it's what we've seen on the live feeds—and Kamu's social media—that make this uglier than just game play. #BB28 #BigBrother

Is BB28’s Jason vs. Kamu just game? Or a shame?
