I seriously wish that more creators would commit to making kids' and family projects, whether it's from a major film studio or an indie studio. I already know that I would be. I personally feel that a good or decent family series or movie is hard to come by these days, and I'm not counting Disney.

The episodes, from ‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,’ ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,’ and ‘Win or Lose,’ were either cut from release or have since leaked online.
Personally, I'm glad that it's not moving forward. I'd rather that they greenlight more kids' and family projects, whether they're original ideas or not, and the same goes for every other major film studio that's not Disney. Children and family lives matter too, y'know, not just adults and fans.
ToonHive@toonhive.bsky.social · 4d agoThe planned ‘Stray Dogs’ horror movie is reportedly no longer moving forward at Paramount Animation. According to a fan who recently met comic creator Tony Fleecs at a convention, Fleecs confirmed the project “is not happening.”
Maybe it's a good thing that Netflix dropped out of the WBD bidding war. I know that PSKY is worse, but still. I honestly don't feel comfortable with using GenAI for any of my shows and movies. I prefer my projects to be entirely human-made. #NoAI

I honestly would rather watch this movie over Coyote vs. Acme and any other Looney Tunes project that gets released. Besides, I personally don't care about the over-the-top stuff that creators put in family films these days. Sorry not sorry.

A live-action film for ‘The Jetsons’ starring Jim Carrey is reportedly in the works at Warner Bros. Pictures. It was mentioned in a WBD shareholder letter for their film slate beyond 2027.
I so needed a beautiful tribute since Ive heard about Jellystone, but dont like that the Banana Splits were bad. :( I would like to pay tribute to their underrated classics. ;)

I hope that some of you realize that just because the WB sound effects library is on sale on Sound Ideas' official website doesn't automatically mean that Warner Bros. "is dead." There's still the antitrust trail that'll be happening in March 2027 regarding the PSKY/WBD merger. (🧵, 1/2)

I actually have a better idea: How about making podcasts for children that aren't AI generated like what Warner Bros. did at one point? Podcasts using family-friendly characters and IPs that can easily entertain both children and grown-ups alike. Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear, The Banana Splits, etc.? 🧵

I have a question for everyone: Would you like to see a series of educational video games starring Hanna-Barbera characters in the style of Disney's educational games back in the day for PC/Mac and Nintendo Switch 2? The latter would take advantage of the system's Joy Con 2 mouse controls.
