NEW Q&A: What do we know about how AI is being used to support clinical decision-making in the NHS? We sat down with @angusramsay.bsky.social, Chris Sherlaw-Johnson and Kevin Herbert to learn about their team’s evaluation of how AI is being applied to chest diagnostics through an NHS pilot scheme.

I'm delighted to have led this paper, published today, with @profnaomifulop.bsky.social and other members of NIHR RSET (www.nuffieldtrust.org.uk/rset-rapid-e...). We provide important lessons on procurement and deployment of #AI tools in healthcare, including key obstacles and enablers.
