I just got back from seeing #ResidentEvil, and holy hell, this film was peak chaos. This truly is a film that, once it starts up and all hell is unleashed, it just goes full throttle and throws everything at you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Zach Cregger.

Hayao Miyazaki was once interviewed by Pixar CCO Pete Docter, where he asked when he makes changes for himself, and when he makes changes for the audience, and Miyazaki responded, "I never think about the audience." This should be the cardinal rule for storytelling.
