On Radio 4’s BH this morning, Simon Woolley, Principal of Homerton College, challenged presenter Paddy O’Connell to estimate what percentage of Cambridge professors were black “30%?” The correct figure is 0.5%.

Devastating news. Glasgow School of Art has scrapped plans to restore Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s iconic buildlng. Doesn’t reflect well on the U.K. By contrast, Notre Dame Cathedral was almost lost to fire in 2019 but reopened in 2024 following a 5-year rebuild www.sundaypost.com/fp/glasgow-s...

Glasgow School of Art now only set for a partial rebuild

The iconic Glasgow School of Art building will not be restored to its former glory, but instead will undergo only a partial rebuild.

Beautiful symmetry that I was asked to create The Pastels concert poster for their Christmas gig this year.💙 Their 80’s gig posters were cultural currency in the days before ‘image search’. *tickets almost gone. Get on it. x

Vote Reform. Or we will house *dangerous migrant centres* in your village. And if you vote Green, it will be even worse for you. It's beyond disturbing. The chill wind of threat, thuggery and menace of a kind never before seen in Britain.

Today we announce a new policy:

In order to deport all illegal migrants in
Britain, Reform will need to detain tens of
thousands at a time.

Migrants will not be able to leave these
detention centres, and each will be held
there a couple of weeks before being
deported.

So here's our promise:

A Reform government will not put any
migrant detention facilities in any
constituency with a Reform MP.

Nor will we put them where Reform
controls the council.

And of the remaining areas, we will
prioritise Green controlled parliamentary
constituencies and Green controlled
councils to locate the detention centres.

Put simply, if you vote in a Reform
council or Reform MP, we guarantee yPut simply, if you vote in a Reform
council or Reform MP, we guarantee you
won't have a detention centre near you

If you vote Green, there's a good chance
you will,

This is an important exercise in
democratic consent, not just for our
mass deportation policy, but for where
the detention centres are placed

Given @ZackPolanski openly advocates
for open borders, I look forward to their
warm embrace of this policy
