It’s one thing to have a person in a position of power who is corrupt and ignorant and ill-suited for the job of governing, but it’s quite another when a large contingent prop up him or her. Everyone should watch and read Ruth Ben-Ghiat and Timothy Snyder’s essays and interviews!

Did you know the 1st time terrorists used planes to attack Americans wasn't 9/11 or Pearl Harbor? It was the Tulsa Race Massacre when white supremacists flew planes to drop bombs on Black Americans. This week marks 105 yrs since one of the most underrecognized acts of racial violence in US history.

Dr. Patricia Bath overcame sexism, racism & poverty and saved the sight of millions of people. She invented the Laserphaco Probe for cataract treatment, 1986; it was patented in 1988. She co-founded the American Institute for the Prevention of Blindness, 1976. She died #OTD in 2019. #WomenInSTEM
