This is Tino and Ro and they need their own tv show because why are they like this?! Pls the giant selfoe pictures of Ro on the walls… a real comedian 😭 They are Tino and Ro but this is someone else who posted them, Ro had to lock her downloads because ppl were stealing her content impersonating.

You all are failing at the messaging game. On every platform. Just amplifying and reposting bullshit because you do not understand that narratives and agendas are hard at work.

Black people have to lock in to protect ourselves and communities. What that man did on Jan. 6—and everyday since—was signal a second redemption. The reign of terror wrought on Black people at the turn of the century was devastating. So much so that we don’t even know the half of it.

Jackson police are investigating the death of an unidentified Black woman who was found hanging in a tree behind a vacant home in Mississippi’s capital city on Monday night. www.mississippifreepress.org/black-woman-...

Prepare yourselves for a 24-hour stretch of not talking about white people later this month. Start practicing the art of navel-gazing Blackness now.

In the context of Black lives, sovereignty means something different because Blackness is borderless and state-agnostic. That means that, to the state, your specific ethnicity doesn't matter. That your skin is black is enough. The state doesn't care if you are jollof Black or mackanchis Black.

Speaking of sovereignty: "ATproto separates into distinct layers what conventional platforms bundle together. Sovereignty, in this context, is a question of control over these interconnected layers of infrastructure." openfuture.eu/blog/w-socia...

Being not-thin is enraging to empire because it means the society couldn't make you conform. Don't internalize that rage, babe. Jiggle and fold instead. Jiggle and fold.

No one wants to own their data until the platform where their data lives enshittifies to the point of unusability and/or starts selling their data in ways they didn't expect. Like, 99% of ppl are here because Elon owns Twitter. I get why people don't care, but they tend to eventually every time.

Absolutely it. Black folks are realizing they can capitalize on the fact that folks look at us as their helpers/saviors/caregivers. Then the next level of that is the tech bros who understand that and make AI Black people to tap in where they ordinarily couldn’t. Whole system insane.

still a mfn simone stan account — yes, all of them!!@larrycurlyanfro.bsky.social · yesterday

The oracle “magical negro” trope in action. Everything on SM is intentional when it gets to this level of engagement. This is a good investigation.

Lmao I was so incensed that I might’ve been tricked by AI I got to the bottom of it at 5 in the morning. It’s f*cked up that the lady I posted stole that content from another creator but at least she’s a real human so I don’t have to doubt my ability to discern reality 😭

A very large part of me is bored with the "move fast" way of developing tech that features mostly men building and breaking and shipping. And by bored, I do mean pissed off. Enraged, in fact. Because it is very, and literally, care-less. But we'll chat about that next weekend. 💃🏾

And *that* matters because most of those societies are antiblack, misogynistic, ableist, and so on. The protocol doesn't escape the power structures from which it arises; it amplifies it. But there is a morality attached to the term "open source" that, in fact, doesn't exist or matter.

This matters because, if we understand technology to be a replication, amplification, and acceleration of material conditions, any protocol can be engineered to replicate, amplify, and accelerate the power structures of the societies that generate it.

And the atproto is a precursor to surveillance web. Given the givens (accelerating techno-fascism), we might want to think about who benefits from a did:*
