As Cornyn noted at Blanche's confirmation hearing—and as Blanche agreed!—this doesn't change the underlying settlement between Trump and the government, which required the fund to be established. Trump could sue to enforce the settlement. Or Blanche could resurrect the fund once he's confirmed.

And another Judge Jeanine case goes up in smoke -- just like you knew it would. After all the grandstanding by Pirro during the press conference announcing the charges, and all the Truth Social posts by Trump about the radical left sabotaging the reflecting pool, this case goes out with a whimper.

In new filings, former FBI Director James Comey seeks disclosure of grand jury transcripts in the "8647" seashells case. Among other things, the motion cites Kash Patel's gaffe at a public press conference, where he said the grand jury was told that Comey apologized for the "8647" post.

Id. at 05:33-05:48. The word "apology" wrongdoing? and thus the grand jury appears to have been led to believe that Mr. Comey made an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Comey did not. He withdrew his earlier post in an abundance of caution and clarified that it was not intended to call for violence.

In this clip, Kash Patel says the grand jury heard evidence that Comey deleted the '8647' post and apologized. Neither fact appears in the indictment. Hmm. Did the FBI director just disclose evidence presented before a grand jury?
