My Author Interview with @womenwritersnet.bsky.social asked about research for "Letters From Elena". Writing about Cyprus 2004 was from personal experience, but for 1974 I read Lawrence Durrell & Colin Thubron (ever-inspiring) and Hazel Thurston's 1971 guidebook was invaluable - and fascinating.
It's been another fun, fast hour with #WomenWritersNetwork. Special thanks go to @annehamilton.bsky.social for agreeing to be interviewed as well as thanks to the WWN team for putting this chat together.
