Every manuscript I ever sold has been in Word.docx. I have only ever submitted to publishers in that format. Legit questions Editors: Can you accept a submission in Google docs? Would you? Would it be required to convert to Word if it were acquired?

To anyone reading this - we are ACTIVELY SEEKING someone to cover indie comics as a regular beat...but everyone is making 15 minute videos now and it's hard to get them to put down the camera. I get that we need both platforms. Anyway who wants to write about comics, DM me.

Anthropic copyright settlement update: Authors are reporting receiving notices like the one below, with a new claims deadline. This is presumably an effort to find rightsholders who have NOT filed a claim yet; if you've already filed a claim, you don't need to file a new one.

Dear Potential Class Member,

We write to inform you that we received claim(s) for the following book(s) in the Anthropic Copyright Settlement. Our records indicate that you may share a copyright interest in the following work(s):

[redacted]

You may have already received the Court-approved Class Notice that includes details about your rights and options under the Settlement, which is also posted on the settlement website at: www.AnthropicCopyrightSettlement.com.

The deadline to file a claim to receive a payment from the Settlement for the work(s) listed above is 70 days after the date of this Notice. If you have already submitted a claim for the work(s) listed above, you do not need to resubmit your claim.

If you have any questions, please contact us by phone at 1-877-206-2314 or by email at info@AnthropicCopyrightSettlement.com.

Sincerely,
Anthropic Copyright Settlement Administrator
