Once overheard staff at Greggs in Edinburgh explaining to US visitors the difference between a sausage roll and a roll & sausage. After some time they decided on the latter to which she then asked “and do you want square sausage or links?” At this point I sadly had to leave to get a train.
The VanFest continues. This one was always special. Even more so, now I've done the work, and I'm emerging from the tunnel. Like the man says, you got to change it on the inside first 🤍

Every time I hear the bit in Don Henley's 'Boys Of Summer' where he sings "you got the top pulled down and the radio on, baby" I find myself wondering what the object of Don's affection has tuned in to. My guess is Gardeners’ Question Time.
Missed Van the Man's birthday yesterday (still in recovery from my own). This one instantly takes me back forty years, when there weren't quite so many candles on either of our cakes 🎂 ❤️
