translucent.org.uk/the-labour-p... This is a very helpful summary of a) the mess that the anti-Trans 'toilet police' thing has created, in the UK and b) the actual legal situation, including a clear outline of major problems in using nothing more than guesswork to say who's which gender.

In the news today, Prof Frith repeating - to any news outlet that will listen - that there's no way to spot autistic people now. I don't know how to break this to the Professor, but Clinicians use...the diagnostic criteria. Which has to be matched for every person. It's not hard to understand.

@translucent.org.uk have recently released their latest report. "Sixty-one of the sixty-two Unitary Authorities responded to our FOI request – Only ONE complaint was found." Trans inclusion is a non-issue. It is a manufactured moral panic, which is an anti-rights tactic.

🧵Hey folks, I’m really hoping for help I had an inquiry from a Deaf person who is getting the run-around for autism assessment cuz no one can provide ASL interpretation. If the individual offers to have his own interpreter the places that accept his insurance (Medicare/Medicaid) decline the case

A gentle position-statement from me. I've been a campaigner for peace, good ethics, Human Rights and nonviolence in everyday society all of my life. I absolutely do not condone any form of targeted hate and violence against any individual, or promotion of any such hate and violence.

The code discriminatory, utterly unworkable and gets the law wrong ❌ If service providers uncritically follow it, they may be acting unlawfully. Worse than that – they will be helping to strip trans people of their rights. https://goodlaw.social/oirg

annsautism.blogspot.com/2026/07/the-... A personal & prayerful blog from me, about the care we need to take with illustrations during our General Synod debates on LGBTQIA+ lives. No matter how inadvertent, we may give a very unfortunate impression, in a church where symbolism is so key to so many.

The best use of visual illustrations for the General Synod LGBTQIA+ Debates?

Well done +Nick Chamberlain (Bishop of Grantham) for raising the point that the UK is becoming increasingly hostile to LGBTQ people and that we are backsliding badly. We need to move beyond polarisation, stop hiding behind process, and show compassion and solidarity. #GeneralSynod

Today, a personal hope and prayer from me for a CofE #GeneralSynod debate late morning, in which Prof Helen King's PMM hopes the church "...can at least acknowledge that a committed, faithful, intimate same-sex relationship can be entirely compatible with Christian discipleship". V quick thread/
