I’m not a mountain man; I’m a fucking mountain, man. They/Them
Got more lyrics than the church got “Ooh Lords” And he hold the mic and your attention like two swords
Name a quote from a hip-hop track.
I don’t care about Resident Evil as a franchise, I just want to see Zach Cregger finish his “Austin Abrams ill-advisedly enters a stranger’s home” trilogy.
I mean, look, it’s not like, shocking that Zack Snyder has never seen Fassbinder’s “Querelle,” without which you’re simply never going to get that question right.
Of all the bizarre things the last couple of years of political reality have led to, I certainly never expected to think, “Damn, it sucks that Macklemore got kicked off the tour.”
“I'm not going to lie Gohan when you told me your father went around the world collecting dragon balls I automatically thought he was a heroin addict. A drug user Gohan. Chasing the dragon is what they call it."

The best career advice Triple H ever gave Jon Moxley was to always have a hot intimidating muscular lady following you around. It's an underutilized mystique technique.
To be clear, I think this is true of a great many HP characters, especially female ones, from Granger on down. It’s also true of Ditko’s Squirrel Girl, who was ultimately fleshed out by other creators. Whether it’s ethical for Marvel to be allowed to do that to Ditko’s character is… complicated.
Back when I was a fan, my favorite character was Luna, but it always bugged me that she believed in creatures that didn’t exist, which seemed like a violation of the books’ premise. Looking back now I realize she was just a stereotype Galbraith wanted to mock, and only seemed cool by accident.

We can argue the margins of whether it’s okay to read the Bigoted Wizard Books you already own or watch your old DVDs or whatever, but I don’t think anybody really does that. Most folks who can get to “financially supporting HP is bad” seem to make it to “this shit sucks actually” pretty easily.

Real talk: Once animated Justice League proved you could do Hawkgirl as a solo hero, this jabroni never needed to appear again, in any medium. Alas, the nostalgia of mediocre male writers keeps bringing him back.
I get that Big Challenges as Anguirus was a long shot, but I would’ve loved to see it.
Well, I got the only SanrioXToho Happy Meal toy I really needed.

Indie wrestling fans who aren’t equally devoted to indie film, wondering in the next few months why multiple trans wrestlers have adopted “A Long December” as their entrance music.
I’m sad about Tim Curry, but like, we can keep talking about Dolly for a few days, you know? It’s not necessary to start working him in to every post. Tim Curry was an amazing performer and unparalleled queer icon, but like, he wasn’t a LIVING SAINT. His face isn’t on the license plate of my car.
And don’t even get me started on Starlord’s creepy space church. That dude sucks, turns out.
It just occurred to me that in this world Blade—the actual vampire-slaying daywalker—got in legal trouble for tax evasion a few years back. And honestly that’s so believable.
