Show went great. 7 of the 9 new pieces are sold. Now I’m out in yucca valley for a couple days resting and soaking up some pool time before heading back to Albuquerque.
I walked by a woman yesterday here in Lancaster who was on the phone. As I walked by she said “OMG, a guy just walked by me who looks just like grandpa. Same height, tattooed and everything.” Grandpa?? She looked 60 herself. lol gave me a good giggle because I am old enough to be a grandpa now.

Wondering Star - I’ve come back to this one repeatedly over the last few days because I just wasn’t happy with it. Sky was to blue, not enough contract, needs more texture, want to simplify the markings etc. but it’s now finished I believe. Sorry for reposting.
Work in progress, mostly finished but needs a bit more contrast on the figure. Will finish tomorrow.

I’ll be honest. I’m truly not happy about anyone’s death. I don’t wish revenge, but justice. I’d rather them still be alive and face the pain they caused millions over the years. I’m tired, I’m exhausted really. I just want this entire corrupt and hateful regime to be over.
Sorry not sorry. I think this may apply to several more in the future as well.
Just feeling like the luckiest soul at the moment. That thing that haunted me as a child brought me community and wholeness as an adult. I’ll forever be grateful for my queerness.
