1st half: “Maverick, you’re dangerous! Stop being so dangerous! Did I mention you’re dangerous?” 2nd half: “You’ve done nothing wrong, Maverick. We went to the Board of Doing Things Wrong & they scientifically proved everything you’ve ever done is correct. Don’t feel bad because you’re perfect.”

What about a Resident Evil game where there’s a virus but it turns out the only one infected is the cop you’re playing as and it’s causing hallucinations of monsters and you’ve just been running around a normal house killing perfectly healthy people?

🩷💜💙 Happy Bi Visibility Day! 🩷💜💙 (I’m so visible right now, I actually came out to a couple of my fellow conference attendees! 😆)

Someone needs to explain to Trump that the worse Republicans do in the midterms, the better it looks for him. Just goes to show the party is utterly lost without him on the ballot! He’s literally the only Republican who has the juice. (Natalie, if you see this, please print and share.)

The Ellisons can buy the influence to get their mergers approved, but then it turns out they can’t actually buy the companies and need other people (who also don’t have as much actual money as they claim) to buy it for them (in exchange for favorable news coverage, probably)

If it weren’t the end of the world, it might be funny that Trump thinks it’s more accurate to call it Super Intelligence considering it often can’t even read. Also that its new acronym would be SI, which is currently most popularly used to refer to Sports Illustrated.

The fact that Trump, his party, and the Republican Congress are historically unpopular and yet we still can’t be sure Democrats will win in November tells you everything about how broken both our electoral system and our political system are.

I'm seeing today referred to both as Celebrate Bisexuality Day and Bisexual Visibility Day, so allow me to say to bisexuals everywhere that I celebrate seeing you. My world is better with you in it!

Mother of Renee Good: I voted for Trump under the impression that these agents were here to protect the citizens of the US, innocents like our family and the others here, against terrorists. Certainly not to accuse those of us here of being terrorists and take precious lives. This is madness.

President Trump berated a CNN reporter, days after barring the network from the White House. “I’m surprised that CNN is here covering me,” he said. Kaitlan Collins, CNN’s White House correspondent, responded, “The United Nations allowed us in, sir.”

Trump berates CNN’s Kaitlan Collins after ban: ‘You shouldn’t be covering me’

The terse interaction came during the president’s visit to the United Nations.

The new thing is to complain about things being Millennial while actually being created by people in Gen X and mostly consumed by Gen Z. Much like when boomers kept complaining about kids these days as millennials when we were in our 30s, literally no one seems to know what age millennials are.

In 1956, when Nikita Khrushchev said “We will bury you,” it was widely (though incorrectly) cited for decades as a mad leader threatening America with destruction. 70 years later, for the first time in history, a US leader clearly threatens genocide at the UN. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Trump warns U.N. he might ‘annihilate’ Iran as war overshadows diplomacy

The president signed an agreement on Greenland after a speech in which he said domestic politics won’t sway his Iran policy.
