My blood pressure just went up listening to this “journalist” evade a straightforward question and reduce Trump’s threats to an issue of semantics. Language MEANS something. This woman is working for the fascists. This is why I cannot watch the news.
On Fox News, interviewing the interviewer. Decide for yourself.
The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.
AI tech bros can kiss my ass until their “technology” can figure out how to make my laptop connect with my printer.
Sugarcane fields for Caribbean Latinos are what cotton fields are for African Americans. Sites of enslavement, brutality, and stolen labor, but also where resistance was born. Revolutions, maroon communities, and fights for independence started in those fields soaked in blood and defiance. #Badbunny
Bad Bunny just did something trump could never do; named all the countries in the Americas. #BadBunny
I appreciate those out there protesting at great risk to their lives however i think the nation needs to grind this economy to a dead stop. It's something everyone can do safely. No spending on ANYTHING but absolute necessities. I understand some shut ins can not do this but very many of us can.
The U.S. Supreme Court will soon hear two cases that will shape the future of transgender people in this country: West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox. Please join PFLAG NYC on Saturday, Jan 10, at 1 p.m. for a rally! RSVP bit.ly/3Yu86EM
Join us and other advocates and allies tomorrow in Union Square rallying for trans kids and against the transphobia raining down from the White House.
Possibly the most annoying part of being on the phone with a "virtual system" to schedule a doctor's appointment is the fake keyboard clacking sound after every question.
I would genuinely like to know: has AI improved your life in a measurable way?
Just a reminder, the layoffs in govt were just done out of spite, not necessity
Good news for transgender people at MIT. Unlike some prestigious universities, MIT has defied the Trump administration and refused its attempt to pressure the university into banning transgender people from bathrooms. The latest from reporter S. Baum. Subscribe to support our journalism.

Hello @mtaalerts.bsky.social. Can you tell us what’s going on with the uptown A train? This is the message currently displayed at 181st.
Trans and gender expansive students in NYC are under attack. Thank you Manhattan Borough President @marklevinenyc.bsky.social for pushing back against this dangerous rhetoric. NYC Mayor Eric Adams should be ashamed.
The Trump admin has threatened to cut funding for magnet schools in NYC unless we abandon our policies ensuring respect for trans students. Alarmingly the mayor has responded by echoing Trump’s talking points. My letter urging the City to stand firm in the face of this threat:
Loved listening to Katie Kitamura, Jason Diamond & Denne Michele Norris in conversation today w/ Alexander Chee at the Brooklyn Book Festival. Cherry on top was getting these beauties signed. @bkbookfest.bsky.social @katiekitamura.bsky.social @jasondiamond.bsky.social @thedennemichele.bsky.social
This is absolutely unacceptable. Banning trans kids from bathrooms will only achieve harm. It makes NO ONE SAFER. Adams is complicit with Tr*mp. He needs to go. Trans kids deserve to be safe in NYC and EVERYWHERE.
1. The Trump admin has demanded New York City to ban trans kids from bathrooms. Mayor Adams has come out in support of Trump's proposal. NY Law protects trans youth, and Adams has no power to implement it. Meanwhile, Mamdani has slammed Adam's comments. Subscribe to support our journalism.
I need more humor in my life. Don’t you?

In July, I completed my second in-person residency of my MFA in Creative Writing, which took place in Barcelona, Spain, at the remarkable l’Ateneu Barcelonés. This was the culmination of my first full year in the program at the Cedar Crest Pan European MFA and the start of year two. @ateneubcn.cat
