Guild Wars 2 and 3 - what we know now ANet said, that they will keep developing new content for GW2, after the release of GW3. In preparation of the release they will return the hall of monuments. Which is a way to register accomplishments and acquisitions that you got in GW2 to get rewards in GW3.

Guild Wars 3 - What we know (2) In an Interview Colin Johanson said, that ANet will stick to its license policies. No Game Cards, no Battle Passes, none of that shit. Great. A lot of the atmosphere in GW1 and GW2 comes from occasional players. I really like their more relaxed attitude.

Guild Wars 3 - What we don't know (1/x) - 4 playable races (bottom right of tapestry), Human, Asura, Kodan, 1 unknown? - Classes/Professions: Not mentioned. But Revenant and Engineer are out, they do not exist in GW1. - Collecting skills by killing bosses, like in GW1 ( mentioned on Steam)?

Guild Wars 3 - What we know. It will be an MMO. It will start in Orr before it sank into the ocean, 1000 years before Guild Wars 1. The trailer indicates that Unreal Engine 5 is used. There will be mounts. The fighting system will be new. A Beta will happen in autumn 2027.

Guild Wars 2 - Apologies (1/2) A week ago I accused new players of bad behaviour. I was at least partly wrong. In the last days I saw several experienced players (400+ hero points) killing the treasure mushrooms in Dragons Stand as fast as possible. So it seems that trolls have found the map.

Guild Wars 2 - Karma Farming For those who lack Karma, here is an efficient way to farm it. Go to Thunderhead Peaks, buy karmic retribution (all you can get) from volatile magic vendors, and do the metas on that map. Alternatively you can buy it in Sandswept isles, and do the pre of the lab event.

Guild Wars 2 - Bad Habits (1/x) For the first time when a wave of new players enters GW2, they are really worsening it. No idea about the mechanics of the game (which is not the problem, though one can read the wiki) no respect for the game, extremely egoistic for no reason. ->

Guild Wars 2 - dust farming As currently T3 dust is at about 11s, and T4 dust is about 13s, you may find it useful to farm it. Around Lake Tenebron in Fields of Ruin and east of Vipers Run waypoint in Iron Marches you can farm it easily from Brandenburg creatures.

Guild Wars 2 Another wave of new players is arriving in the game since Christmas. Lots of them. After a statement of ArenaNet end of November, that said that the Nummer of sold copies of VoE already surpassed that of JW, VoE is probably a major success for Arenanet. Congrats!

Guild Wars 2 - VoE After checking out a few builds I have to say that a nerve is absolutely essential. Or all the old content will become totally ridiculous. A galeshot can control a whole lane in Silverwastes. Dragons Stand can be done with 15 players in an hour. Thats just nonsense.
