Marine ecologist at the University of Exeter working on the Convex Seascape Survey - investigating how seafloor creatures interact with carbon in a blue carbon seascape (www.convexseascapesurvey.com).

There's something about working on a train that makes you feel like you can achieve anything! And watching the UK go by bathed in summer sun and listening to the new Muse album 🤘 makes for a perfect journey to Scarborough for the #ReMeMaRe Restoring Resistive and Coastal Habitats Conference

A pleasure to be at the South West Marine Ecosystem conference today at @pml.ac.uk Hearing from 40+ researchers, citizen scientists, and practitioners in a sold room. A great conference looking at the stresses on and positives found on the marine environment in the South West.

Very lucky to have access to this wonderful space to have some quiet and focussed work time. The Devon and Exeter Institution was founded in 1813 for "The general diffusion of science, literature and the arts". I hope the academic prowess stored within is diffusing into my brain as I work here!
