I'm surprised how much fun I've been having recently with design work I'm doing for @arabica.social, I've been having more fun with this than with the backend stuff. (I'm cooking up some great stuff)
My WiFi is having issues, @arabica.social and @oolong.social are down while I wait for this to be resolved.
Success! My AI agent (running a small local model) is able to add my beans to my @arabica.social atproto records.
I published the alpha lexicons for @arabica.social (they still might change, but most* are stable)
Added a new "notes" field to the @arabica.social brew lexicon! Now you can add roaster descriptions/tasting notes and your own notes about a bean! Adding an new bean also has its own form page now (it had too many fields already).
Working on a coffee recommendation model for @arabica.social I suspect there isn't enough data for it to be super useful just yet, but it will be cool to have.
Added roast date to the @arabica.social bean lexicon! I've been meaning to do this for a while but forgot.
Added a new “explore” page to @arabica.social! This page should be helpful for finding new roasters, beans, and gear!
I added links to most of the lexicon types in @arabica.social and @oolong.social! Bean, brewer, grinder, tea, vessel, and infuser all have links now. (roaster and vendors had them already)
I think I'm going to (this weekend) try and take a swing at turning arabica into a monorepo and building a tea app on top of it. I'm going to open an issue there to start up a lexicon discussion if you are interested in helping, I'd love to hear feedback. tangled.org/did:plc:6ll2...
