This! I tend to not try Netflix shows until they have at least two seasons dropped. They cancel shows a week after dropping them. Give something a chance to build an audience! Sheesh

Netflix is struggling with keeping viewers "hooked" because it keeps canceling shows after 1 season so no one trusts a Netflix show to last. Its that simple, regardless of whatever their bullshit internal analytics are informing them.

I guess i should update here. I have left my job in veterinary medicine, officially retired from the thing i have done for over 3 decades. My leave was up and my mom’s situation hasn’t changed so my energy remain needed elsewhere. It feels weird. Sad, but also a weight lifted. But also…sad.

I don’t post here very much, but figured i would post this here too. I am in the first week of family leave to help take care of my mom. Her Alzheimer’s is now progressed to the point that she can no longer be left alone. The details are a longer story for another time but here we are.
